You say you really know me
But exactly how much of me do you really understand?
the midnight breeze

The clock starts to strike midnight,
as you toss around on your bed.
you tell yourself you are alright,
but you can feel something's not right ahead.
you stare at the empty ceiling in front of you--
wondering what could possibly be wrong.
its like trying so hard to get a breakthrough,
but you are met with a wall all along.
so up you get and forward you walked,
going out into the dark open balcony.
feeling like you've hit the ocean's bedrock,
as you find your eyes all bleary.
so there you stand in the ghostly night,
the cool, warm breeze on your face.
you try to soothe your inner fight--
and remembered when they called you a disgrace.
you close your eyes and slowly inhale,
as your hair flutters in the midnight breeze.
you start to take in all those little details,
while the wind seems to drain daily worries.
the breeze surrounds you like a star that shone,
telling you of that wonderful heavenly grace.
reminding you that you are not alone,
even though you are tired of this race.
but the heavy silence pounds against your ears,
and everything starts to crash back down.
soon finding your eyes brimming with tears,
feeling like you just wanna breakdown.
however, no. you are not that weak,
and you will not allow yourself to cry.
yet, you let loose a little shriek,
as you tip your head towards the sky.
you have to swallow back down those hot tears,
let your head drop down low,
as you convince yourself to remember.
while you whisper to soothe yourself,
"i will never be alone."

So tell me about the rumours
Are they only rumours, or are they only lies?

Falling out of a perfect dream
have you felt as if your world crashed right on top of you?
comments
you count down ten to one because when on zero you can smile
Funny how easily you crushed the trust
When it took you years to just build it.
