You say you really know me
But exactly how much of me do you really understand?
long shadows from the sunset sky
Saturday, June 25, 2011 / 3:45 AM

awake in the middle of the night
hurry soon my dear,
dawn is fast approaching
close your eyes and breathe.
don't you let any spill out.
sucked into the realm of dreams
stop.
don't wake up again.
you can't afford to wake up again.
you finally got yourself some sleep --
but you ignore.
soon you find yourself awake...
half stifling a scream,
the heart is palpitating fast,
what was that? - just another nightmare...
every image so vivid, every noise so clear.
don't you let any spill out.
check the clock my dear,
its right before dawn.
the night is at its darkest right before dawn.
dawn is hope -- right?
but why does dawn seem like a curse?
there goes your chance at sleeping , my dear.
its time to get up again.
don't you let any spill out.
